REALTORS® Care awards seek nomination

Does your REALTOR® deliver meals to seniors with the same vigour that she sells houses? Maybe your next door neighbour is a REALTOR® who is always fundraising for local charities.

If you know REALTORS® who make outstanding contributions to his or her community, nominate them for this year’s REALTORS® Care awards.

The REALTORS® Care community service award program recognises REALTORS® who, through fundraising or volunteer activities, are active and contributing members in the communities where they live and work.

“Real estate professionals have a longstanding tradition of generously supporting a variety of community causes,” said Real Estate Board president Don Pearce. “It’s important to recognise those who volunteer their time outside of the real estate industry to encourage their efforts and encourage others to get involved.”

Nominations will be accepted until January 11, 2002. If you don’t submit a nomination, we may never know about the charitable work your REALTOR® has been doing!

Watch the next issue of RealtyLink in Print for a nomination form, or download one from www.realtylink.org. Or you can contact the Real Estate Board at 604-730-3022 and have a form mailed to you.
